Pound rupee future of March expiry on last trading session closed at 90.81 with gain. In this week pound was down for 2 days and up for 2 day. Pound after breakdown below 93.8 enter bearish trend and hit 92.2 rupee sell target and now next support and bearish target will be around 89.5. Here volatility is killing traders but below 92.1, pound will remain weak and sell for target of 89.5. Below 89.5, next support will be around 87.9 rupees. Expect high volatility on brexit news and trading will be not easy here in upcoming weeks.

This week we saw almost 2 rupee plus movement in pound and pound is correcting towards 91.25 rupee support zone. Here if pound sustain below 91.25 level on weekly basis then expect deep downside level up to 84 rupees in medium to long terms.

POUND rupee Future Chart Analysis

Pound rupee future of February expiry on last trading session closed at 91.54 with gain. In this week pound was down for 2 days and up for 3 day. Pound after hitting 94.5 high, hit by profit booking and given breakdown below 92.15. Below 92.15 pound will remain weak but currently trading in oversold state so expect bounce back towards 92.15 levels from here. Below 92.15, pound rupee future has support around 89.8 and that will be target zone if downtrend continues here.

Pound rupee future daily chart technical analysis

Pound rupee future of January expiry on last trading session closed at 89.16 with loss. Pound is in absolute downtrend against rupee and heading lower and lower in oversold zone suggesting underlying strong selling. For month of January, pound below 89.6 rupee level resistance remain weak and sell on rise and targets for this months will be around 87.9 and then 86.7. But daily chart indicators are oversold but mixed so keep tailing stop loss for short positions and expect lower targets. If pound gives reversal and breakout above 89.6 then expect 90.8 and then possibly 92.5 rupee levels on buying as well as short coverings.

On weekly chart also pound is in bearish trend against rupee but deeply oversold on chart. For year 2019, pound below 91.3 on weekly closing basis will remain weak and sell. On downside 84 and then 78.5 rupees are long term support levels and target zones if downtrend continues. Pound if breaks above 91.3 o weekly closing basis then expect 96.6 and then record high of 104 rupee plus in longer terms.

Pound rupee future on monthly chart showing gains for month of December. This was first gaining month for pound and in this month pounds range was 88 to 91+. After strong fall in October and November we saw some value buying as well as short coverings from the lows. On monthly chart 88.5 low will remain most important level while on upside 95 and 98 as strong hurdles to watch.

Pound rupee future of December expiry on last trading session closed at 90.96. We saw sharp recovery from 89 rupee low to almost 91.4 recovery target zone. 91.4 rupees is strong trend hurdle for pound and if it get above it with breakout then expect big rally in pound towards 93.75 to 98 rupees in December series. Below 91.4 rupees, pound will remain weak but daily chart indicators and oscillators are bullish so keep buy on dips view with stop loss and expect 91.4 as first target and then if breakout happen then expect 93.75 first and then possibly 98 rupees targets in this series.

On weekly chart 90 rupee is major support and above it on weekly closing basis, pound might trend towards previous targets of 93.8 and 99 rupees.
